UMF does two main things: manufacture non-life-critical climbing accessories, and help local companies with design and manufacturing. We are located in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. We test our climbing accessories at the local climbing crags, and help companies manufacture products locally, using the extensive local aerospace and medical manufacturing depth.
The manufacturing engineers and managers at UMF have experience in designing everything from cheap molded plastic parts to tight-tolerance critical parts in specialized metals. If you need help with designing or manufacturing your idea, send us a note.
SLC has an extensive manufacturing sector, supporting the mining, petroleum, defense, medical, aerospace, and green energy industries in the western U.S. Regardless of what sort of technique you need, someone in SLC area or nearby probably does it.

The current climbing accessories sold by 0 kN are a set of rings to allow attaching Nalgene™ water bottles with accessory cord. This means your water bottles won't launch off the cliff, endagering those below, and hang vertically rather than at an angle! A similar design is available, in various pretty colors, for 48 oz, 32 oz wide-mouth bottles; 16 oz wide-mouth bottles; and 32 oz narrow-mouth bottles.
